JOB REQUIREMENTS: A Contract Electrical Design Engineer job in
Oconomowoc, WI is available through Accelerate Professional Talent
Solutions. This position requires candidates to have 5+ years of product
design experience within a manufacturing environment and a strong
knowledge of electrical code, panel wiring, and SolidWorks. In this
position, candidates will focus on creating CAD electrical drawings
within SolidWorks Electrical for current and new projects. This role
will also analyze new products to determine the feasibility of their
operation and manufacturing, prepare bill-of-materials in ERP systems,
update operation manuals, and ensure all applicable standards and codes
have been followed. Contract Electrical Design Engineer job
responsibilities include: - Create CAD electrical drawings within
SolidWorks Electrical for current and new projects - Analyze new
projects to determine the feasibility of their operation and
manufacturing - Prepare bill-of-materials within the ERP systems -
Update all operation and manufacturing manuals as needed - Ensure all
applicable standards and codes have been followed - Collaborate with
Production, Purchasing, and Manufacturing teams to ensure products meet
standards - Test and troubleshoot products ** OTHER EXPERIENCE
AND QUALIFICATIONS: - Associates degree or two years of technical
experience with electrical or product design - 5+ years of product
design experience within a manufacturing environment - Knowledge of
electrical code (NEC, CE, and IEC) - Proficient experience with panel
wiring and other wiring techniques - Experience creating 2D electrical
drawings, schematics, and diagrams required; 3D CAD a plus - Experience
with SolidWorks Electrical and AutoCAD Electrical ** APPLICATION
