Electrician

The role
Installation, troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining electrical
wiring and devices for buildings and machinery. Calibrations of devices
used to control production processes. The job also involves using
computers and PLC controls to troubleshoot problems.
How youll make an impact
Responsibilities include installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining
electrical wiring and devices for Weidmanns buildings and equipment.
Work consists of installing, troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining
electrical wiring and devices for Weidmanns buildings and equipment.
This includes but is not limited to conduits, motors, starters, VFDs,
control panels, process control devices and equipment.
Perform work in a safe manner in accordance with all OSHA, NEC, State
and NFPA 70E and Weidmann regulations.
Regular communication with Lead Person or Plant Engineer regarding
problems or safety issues is mandatory.
Develop, plan and maintain facilities, processes, production equipment,
and tooling to meet the needs of the business.
Work performed in a neat and workmanlike manner, following
manufacturer\'s instructions for torquing and installation; may involve
confined space entry, tight spaces, elevated work, and varied
environments.
What do you bring
High School/Trade School Diploma required.
Must hold a valid State of Vermont Electrician Journeymans License with
a minimum of four (4) years experience with low-voltage (480 volts)
wiring, switch gear, electric motors, etc.
Must be able to provide own various electricians tools and hand tools.
The company will provide large/expensive tools.
Must be able to obtain fork truck license.
Must be able to meet all physical requirements in accordance with the
Essential Function Job Analysis.
