Salary $70,000 - $75,000/yrEmployment Full Time, 37.50 hours per week, Monday through Friday Purpose: Under the general direction of the Vice President, the Mental Health Director, oversees and supervises the operations of the clinical services in the Mental Health programs. The programs include the Mental Health Clinic and oversight of the program manager for Drive On/ Care Management.Key Functions: Oversees the provision of clinical services, assures performance of the programs through monitoring of productivity expectations and program budgets. Provides administrative and clinical supervision in the Mental Health Clinic to primary therapists, psychiatric nurse, two prescribers, reception, HIM specialist, administrative assistant, utilization review nurse, peer specialist and Drive On specialists to implement and monitor standards of care. May provide supervision to clinical staff in PROS program who need Clinical level supervision only. Responsible for assisting direct reports in successful accomplishment of identified key functions and goals by providing needed resources, leadership and coaching. Coordination with HR to hire for staffing vacancies and ensure onboarding is smooth Responsible for training of ongoing staff and onboarding of new staff Oversees audits, UR/QA/QI indicators, and ensures that corrective actions are implemented. Collaboration and communication with Finance team to ensure productivity and budget items are in line with expenditures. Develop and revise as needed appropriate protocols, policies and procedures for the provision of clinical services. Conducts meetings to communicate expectations, changes in policies/ procedures (Clinic regulations, standards of care and redesign services, staff meetings, centralized intake). Attends agency managers meeting or outside provider meetings to identify contract requirements and network with other providers. Oversees Clinic intake and triages new referrals. Collaborates with the Medical Director in the Mental Health Clinic to ensure implementation of policies and monitoring the standards of care. Serves as the primary point of contact and as liaison for clinic staff who are users of Oracle EMR. Provides staff training to clinical staff on utilizing the EMR. Attends professional development activities as required and participates in department and agency meetings as required. Collaborates with Oracle software vendor to support development and implementation of solutions within the EMR to meet clinic needs and remain compliant with regulatory requirements. Adheres to Company policies and procedures to include being aware of the importance of Corporate Compliance Policies and the Code of Conduct. Licensure in New York as a Master's level Clinical Social Worker, Mental Health Counselor, or Psychologist (LMHC,LCSW-R, Ph.D. in Psychology) Experience in public/ community mental health settings serving low income and culturally diverse populations. More than 1 year of experience providing supervision to behavioral health practitioners. Requires excellent leadership skills and an ability to work well across departments, facilities, and/ or organizations. Strong organizational skills. Computer literacy, including the ability to input information, retrieve client information, and locate information and resources on the web.
