Electrical Maintenance Technician
1st and 3rd shift available
6 month contract to hire
$30-$42/hr depending on experience
Job Description
Support the manufacturing and production team by providing maintenance to equipment including hydraulics, pneumatics, heater bands, injection molding machinery, and presses. Perform wiring for 110 - 480V 3-phase motors, motor control drives, and PLCs (Allen Bradley, Siemens, and Mitsubishi). This role involves PLC troubleshooting and minor edits, fault resets, replacements, start/stop operations, and sensor maintenance.
Responsibilities
Perform maintenance on hydraulics, pneumatics, heater bands, production machinery, and presses.
Conduct wiring for 110 - 480V 3-phase motors and motor control drives.
Troubleshoot and make minor edits to PLCs (Allen Bradley, Siemens, and Mitsubishi).
Utilize CMMS for preventative maintenance, work orders, and reducing production downtime.
Read and interpret wiring diagrams.
Perform general automation tasks.
Use basic computer programs such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
Experience with punch presses is highly preferred.
Welding and fabricating skills are a major plus but not required.
Maintain and repair mechanical components like rollers, bearings, and presses.
Essential Skills
5 years of experience in an electrical and mechanical maintenance role within a manufacturing facility.
Basic PLC, ladder logic, and motor drives troubleshooting.
Experience with injection molding troubleshooting.
Knowledge of HVAC, compressors, water chillers, plumbing, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical prints and drawings.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Preferred experience with calipers, electrical meters, pressure reading devices, and temperature gauges.
Welding and fabricating skills are highly valued.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $42.00/hr.
