Aerotek is hiring an Electrical Maintenance Technician
Responsibilities
Maintain and repair hydraulics, pneumatics, heater bands, injection molding machinery, and presses.
Perform wiring for 110 - 480 V 3-phase motors, motor control drives, and PLCs (Allen Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi).
Troubleshoot and make minor edits to PLCs, reset faults, replace components, and manage start/stop functions.
Work with linear actuators and have a strong understanding of mechanical systems, including rollers, bearings, hydraulics, pneumatics, and presses.
Utilize CMMS for preventive maintenance, work orders, and execution to minimize production downtime.
Read and interpret wiring diagrams and mechanical/electrical prints and drawings.
Perform general automation tasks and possess basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
Essential Skills
PLC troubleshooting and control
Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting
Experience with 3-phase motors, VFDs, and ladder logic
Working knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and various electrical circuits (24VDC, 120/230/480V single and 3-phase)
Experience with water chillers, plumbing, electric controls, conveyors, and LOTO
Ability to troubleshoot injection molding machinery
Reading and interpreting mechanical and electrical prints and drawings
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel)
Additional Skills & Qualifications
5 years of experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing facility
Basic PLC, ladder logic, and motor drives troubleshooting (no programming required)
Knowledge and experience with HVAC, compressors, water chillers, plumbing, and hydraulics
Preferred experience with calipers, electrical meters, pressure reading devices, and temperature gauges

Work Environment
The work environment includes three shifts: 7am - 3:30pm, 3:30pm - 11pm, and 11pm - 7:30am. The facility is not temperature controlled, with temperatures ranging from as low as 50 degrees in the winter to up to 100 degrees in the summer. Hearing protection is provided and required at all times in the production area due to high noise levels. The dress code includes jeans or work pants, work shirts, hearing protection, and steel toe boots. The facility houses 10 mold injection machines, 1 large punch press, and 2 robotic arms.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Collierville, Tennessee.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $42.00/hr.
