The Senior Lead Specialist, Continous Improvement is responsible for driving process optimization, efficiency, and structured problem solving at Westinghouse locations around the globe. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading Lean Six-Sigma/Continuous Improvement initiatives, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and delivering measurable results. Able to travel up to 20% of the time, including international. This is a US only remote role.
Your Day to Day:
Partner with leadership in the selection, prioritization, and deployment of key continuous improvement projects across the organization
Lead cross-functional teams to execute and deliver multiple continuous improvement projects across the organization using DMAIC process and Lean Six-Sigma tools
Lead Lean Six-Sigma Green Belt training at Westinghouse facilities in the US and in Europe
Identify and lead Kaizen Events throughout Westinghouse to optimize complex business and manufacturing processes, improving quality, productivity, and cost performance
Act as a change agent to promote a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring adoption and sustainment of continuous improvement initiatives throughout the organization
Regularly report progress, challenges, and successes to senior leadership, aligning initiatives with strategic business objectives
Provide mentoring, and coaching on use of Lean and Six-Sigma tools and methodologies
Who You Are:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or equivalent experience. Master's degree preferred.
5+ years of experience in Lean Six-Sigma and process improvement; 10-15 years typical
Certified Master Black Belt in Lean Six-Sigma. Will consider those with Black Belt certification actively pursuing Master Black Belt certification.
