Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Electrical Assembler Level 2 to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling enclosures and electrical devices according to precise product specifications, working from detailed instructions, and adhering to strict quality assurance guidelines. This role involves using hand and power tools, testing electrical devices, and operating various soldering machines.
Responsibilities
Assemble enclosures according to precise product specifications
Work from detailed instructions and conform to strict quality assurance guidelines
Assemble electrical devices
Use hand and power tools
Test electrical devices
Operate Selective Soldering Machine
Operate Wave Soldering Machine
Manual soldering (rework)
Operate SMD/THT machines
Perform other duties as assigned
Essential Skills
Mechanical assembly
Experience with hand and power tools
Experience in a production environment
Ability to follow work instructions
Mechanical aptitude
Electronic assembly skills
Proficient with soldering on circuit boards
Electronic knowledge
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with electronics from the military or education
Relevant on-the-job experience as an assembler in a manufacturing environment

Work Environment

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chesapeake, Virginia.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
