Job Title: Electrical Assembler
Responsibilities
Perform electrical and mechanical assembly, panel wiring, while adhering to safety, quality, and customer specifications.
Assemble finished units per customer specifications, including pulling wire, crimping wire, installing, and testing wiring and wiring harnesses using voltmeter and ohmmeter.
Perform part replacement on tools as needed and according to schedule.
Resolve routine questions and problems, referring more complex issues to higher levels.
Work under direct, close supervision, with output monitored frequently.
Follow detailed written or verbal instructions, including visual aids, diagrams, and schematics.
Ensure that assigned area is clean and organized per 5S standards.
Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy.
Coordinate with teammates to organize tasks requiring multiple team members to accomplish.
Keep inventory personnel informed of spare parts inventory and locations for ease of order fulfillments.
Perform real-time point-to-point testing to ensure accurate wiring and no issues with the wires/housing.
Essential Skills
2+ years of experience in electrical wiring and assembly, including point-to-point wiring and schematics.
Ability to interpret blueprints, graphs, schematics, and unit-specific information.
Proficiency in using hand and power tools for electrical and mechanical assembly.
Experience with electrical testing tools such as multimeters.
Ability to operate a personal computer, including knowledge of Windows-based operating systems and related software.
Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr.
