Job Title: Plant Electrician
Job Description
As a Plant Electrician, you will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance activities such as lubricating, measuring wear, and observing operations. You will also perform emergency and breakdown maintenance to support plant operations. Your role will involve accurately using measurement and test equipment, installing wire and conduit for newly installed and existing equipment, diagnosing and repairing faulty electrical components, and troubleshooting and repairing pneumatic and hydraulic systems. Additionally, you will maintain clean and organized work areas.
Responsibilities
Perform preventive maintenance activities such as lubricating, measuring wear, and observing operations.
Execute emergency and breakdown maintenance to support plant operations.
Accurately use measurement and test equipment.
Install wire and conduit for newly installed and existing equipment.
Diagnose and repair faulty electrical components.
Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
Maintain clean and organized work areas.
Essential Skills
Electrical aptitude and troubleshooting expertise.
Mechanical knowledge and experience.
Ability to pass an advanced industrial skills and instrumentation/electrician knowledge test prior to the interview process.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
LME/PJ/General Journeyman Electrician License required.
