General Requirements:
Preference will be given to candidates who have prior experience with clinical supervision of graduate students, teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and/or training program administration.
Nature & Purpose of Position/Usual Duties:
This is an annual 9-month, non-tenure-track appointment. Summer teaching contracts may be available depending on department needs. The person filling this position will serve as a core faculty member of the SHSU Clinical Psychology Masters program and will be responsible for the following: Teaching graduate and undergraduate courses in the Department of Psychology & Philosophy to support the SHSU teaching mission. Administrative support to the MA Clinical Psychology program and its initiatives. Clinical oversight of MA students on external practicum sites. Cultivation of external practicum sites in the Huntsville and surrounding communities. Assisting with program initiatives to reduce mental health care disparities in the community. There are no research requirements for this position, though there may be opportunities for research collaboration within the department.

Educational Requirements for the Position (Faculty Positions Only):
Doctoral degree from APA -accredited Health Service Psychology program.
Licensed or license eligible as a Psychologist in the state of Texas.
Experience Required for the Position (Faculty Positions Only):
Five years of full-time employment in the provision and/or supervision of evidence-based psychological services. Ability to supervise Masters students in clinical psychology placements. Ability to teach graduate and undergraduate courses in Psychology. Ability to contribute to program administration.
