For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is
$100,000 - $115,000 per year, plus a commission pool incentive . The
compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located
within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles
of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay
is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge,
job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Sustainability Services (ESS) team is one of the world's leading

Schneider Electric's Cleantech and Renewable Energy consulting services,
this role will support some of the world's largest companies to utilize some
of the most powerful solutions available to meet these commitments:

Position Summary:
The Senior Consultant, Renewable Energy and Carbon Advisory is the primary
project lead serving clients with strategic renewable consulting and complex
renewable energy deals (primarily, but not exclusively, onsite and
offsite Power Purchase Agreements "PPAs" and Tax Credit Transfer
Agreements "TCTAs"). You'll join a passionate and highly motivated
team of experts helping our clients navigate corporate structures and manage
diverse groups of stakeholders to execute successful renewable energy
strategies and transactions globally. Schneider Electric is seeking candidates
with experience in the below responsibility areas.
What do you get to do in this job?
Assist clients to set renewable energy strategies, and successfully execute
renewable transactions (on and offsite PPAs, TCTAs, eg.)
Own project management process including: timeline and quality of
deliverables, coordination of client and internal stakeholders, evaluation
of financial and qualitative decision criteria, and complex contract
negotiatio
Guide clients through internal approval processes, including accounting,
legal, financial and commercial decision makers
Lead client project teams, including reviewing work and training other team
members
Coordinate with cleantech and various Schneider ESS teams to develop and
execute go-to-market opportunities for clients
Deliver sustainable energy consulting services, including renewable
electricity strategies, other cleantech solutions, feasibility studies,
and global market research for clients
Support the creation of new product offerings and improve existing services
Support Schneider's client development team by serving as a subject matter
expert in late-stage sales processes
Identify new business opportunities from existing clients
Support market development through research, content creation and review,
and attending and speaking at external events - 10-15% domestic and
international travel necessary

Proven experience in sustainability or renewable energy industry is
preferred, including:
Onsite and/or offsite utility-scale wind and solar development, experience
with power purchase agreements and/or tax credits strongly preferred
Corporate sustainability / social responsibility
Consulting and advisory work with large corporations
Strong project management skills with the ability to track complex contract
and project requirements for multiple projects.
Ability to initiate and nurture relationships with a wide variety of
stakeholders, with experience addressing obstacles and managing through
conflict.
Strong written and oral communicator. Experienced in presenting analyses and
ideas in a concise, effective manner to clients.
Commitment to learning and adapting to emerging global energy landscapes,
technologies, and contractual structures
Negotiation skills, interpersonal persuasiveness, and analytical skills
will be highly valued
High commitment to the company vision, values and excellent customer service
Bachelor's Degree in Energy, Business, Finance, Engineering, or a
related field,
Proficient computer experience in Microsoft Office Products, particularly
Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
