For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is
$130,000 - $190,000 per year, plus a short-term incentive. The
compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located
within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles
of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay
is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge,
job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Head of Global Renewable Energy Strategy Consulting, Schneider Electric's
Sustainability Business

Advisory (RECA) team, where we advise clients worldwide on renewable
energy strategies and implementation tailored to their needs. In this role,
you will lead our renewable energy strategy consulting practice, guiding
clients to meet their Scope 2 and carbon emissions reduction goals through
market intelligence and strategic recommendations.

Lead with Purpose:
Take charge of accounts and projects, overseeing all aspects of project
delivery, including scope, schedule, budget, and client stakeholder
engagement. Your leadership will ensure an exceptional overall client
experience and satisfaction. Deliver cross-disciplinary projects, such as
target setting and decarbonization, alongside broader Schneider
sustainability consulting services.
Cultivate a High-Performance Team Culture:
Directly manage a diverse team of consultants based in the US and Europe while
indirectly overseeing a matrix of Schneider Electric experts. Foster a
supportive and high-performing team culture that values collaboration and
growth.
Innovate and Expand Service Offerings:
Lead the continual enhancement of existing service deliverables and processes.
Maintain and improve our renewable energy market intelligence platform,
which underpins our consulting work. Drive the development of new service
innovations, leveraging digital tools and software to meet evolving market
and client needs.
Support New Business Development
Collaborate with our Business Development teams to secure new business. Act as
a subject matter expert, developing scopes, pricing our work, and
partnering with the sales team to win new clients. Identify and foster
opportunities within existing clients, positioning them for implementation
and additional consulting services.
Represent Schneider Electric Externally:
Participate in industry events and forums, showcasing our work as a thought
leader. Collaborate with our Marketing team to create engaging content that
boosts our visibility, differentiation, and reputation in the market.
What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
Prior consulting experience at a strategic level
Originating or delivering on VPPA/PPA/Tax credit transactions with clients
preferred
Strong understanding of VPPAs, PPAs, Tax credits, Environmental
Attribute Certificate (EACs) and GOs. RECs, IRECs and/or Carbon
Offsets preferr
Domain expertise in renewable energy and/or climate mitigation strategies
for multinational corporations. We may consider expertise in other
environmental domains if it comes alongside considerable experience running a
consulting team.
People management and development experience; specifically managing and
coaching a multi-national team
Success managing consulting engagements with large national and global
commercial customers.
A passion for serving client needs; joy in other peoples' success;
empathy and superior listening skills
Exceptional written and oral communication skills, including experience
making presentations to external clients, client stakeholders,
prospects, internal stakeholders, and the public
Most of our team members have a Bachelor's degree in business, science,
or engineering, and graduate degrees are common.
