Job Summary
Deluxe Delivery Systems, a NYC-based provider of premium courier & logistics services, is seeking a Junior Accountant to support its financial operations. This role is crucial for ensuring accuracy in accounting processes and activities using QuickBooks.
Responsibilities and Qualifications
The role involves processing vendor payments, customer invoices, purchase orders, receipts and bills, sales, expenses, and cost of goods sold (COGS), maintaining financial records and assisting with budgets and reports, all using QuickBooks. Candidates should have a strong background in accounting. A bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is not required (but preferred), 0-2 years of experience, and strong attention to detail. Additional advantages include knowledge of QuickBooks operations such as automation, integration, vendor and customer set-up, etc.
