Position: Legal Administrative Assistant
Revenue/Headcount: Largest full-service law firm in Hawaii
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Legal Administrative Assistant to support our legal teams in a fast-paced environment. This position involves handling various administrative tasks, document preparation, and client communication. Previous legal experience is a plus but not required.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with preparing, editing, and formatting legal documents (contracts, pleadings, briefs, etc.)
Support case management by organizing and maintaining case files, tracking deadlines, and ensuring proper filings
Communicate with clients and schedule meetings, court dates, and appointments
Handle basic billing and administrative tasks, including time tracking and expense management
Assist with real estate deal documentation, including purchase agreements, leases, and due diligence support (nice to have)
Perform legal research and summarize findings for attorneys
File documents with courts or agencies, ensuring compliance with legal procedures
Qualifications:
Experience with document editing and preparation (legal experience a plus)
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Nice to have: Experience supporting real estate transactions
