The Agency Administration Department of the North Central Texas Council of Governments is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support the departments administrative and coordination activities. Job
Duties:
Provide customer service to public and staff by greeting visitors,
answering
telephone calls, fielding questions; taking and forwarding messages; gathering information in order to direct requests to appropriate individuals
Maintaining staff and/or departmental
calendars
Ordering, maintaining, and distributing departmental and agency supplies for agency Xerox machines, breakrooms and mail area functions
Distributing agency-wide incoming mail to internal departments; administer postage meter functions for agency-wide outgoing mail
Implement records management services by following and interpreting identified guidelines, maintaining paper and electronic files for easy access and retrieval
Prepare public education outreach, marketing initiatives and communication efforts for regional training event options
Assist staff in providing customer service on the day of scheduled regional training events; to include set up of physical room layout, maintaining provided
refreshments, and restoring event location to original layout after each
event
Required
Skills:
Ability to operate a variety of office
equipment
Proficient in operating Windows-based computer programs such as Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel; working knowledge of Teams and SharePoint a plus
Strong communication skills, both written and
verbal
Effective organizational skills and ability to multi-
task
Detail oriented with good quality control, including proper grammar and punctuation usage

Required
Experience:
Six months advanced studies past High School equivalency and 1-3 years of related work
experience.

$36,572.00 - $45,713.70 depending on skills and
