SCHEDULE:
1st shift, Mon-Fri; 6:30am-3:00pm
2nd shift, Mon-Fri; 3:00pm-11:30pm
Pay Rate: $18:00- $20.00
DAILY DUTIES:
Responsible for assembling pre-formed sheet metal components, using equipment such as drills, wrenches, and other hand/power tools.
Read and interpret drawings and sketches.
Maintaining a daily time log of work done on manufacturing and/or production travelers.
Doing sub-assemblies for custom built GSE units built for Southwest Airlines,
Delta, US Government and United Airways and more.
Other assigned duties as needed.
MUST HAVES:
Mechanical aptitude, for example 6+ months experience in the automotive field
Ability to take an accurate measurement with a tape measure
6 months experience using hand and power tools
OT as needed, not necessarily mandatory but highly preferred, especially during busy season offer quite a bit on weekends and through the week.
When the candidate starts on their first day, they are expected to know how to properly use a tape measure as well as hand and power tools.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
