Description
We are seeking a dedicated Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic team located in Matawan, New Jersey, United States. In this role, you will be a key player in managing customer service, data entry, and administrative tasks. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity, where you will be instrumental in handling inbound and outbound calls, scheduling appointments, and maintaining an efficient workflow.
Responsibilities:
Handle customer service tasks effectively, including answering inbound calls and resolving customer inquiries.
Conduct meticulous data entry tasks to ensure accurate records and processing of customer applications.
Maintain regular correspondence via email to ensure efficient communication channels.
Manage the scheduling of appointments, ensuring a seamless workflow.
Utilize Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word to manage tasks and create presentations.
Analyze sales trends and market data, providing insights and recommendations.
Prepare promotional details and competitive ad analysis, working closely with the advertising department.
Coordinate participation in events and programs, serving as a liaison between manufacturers and support services.
Issue store credits, setup new vendors, and manage other ad hoc requests.
Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.
Requirements - Proven experience in answering inbound calls effectively and professionally.
Strong customer service skills with a customer-centric approach.
Proficient in data entry tasks with high accuracy and attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to manage email correspondence efficiently and professionally.
Experience in handling both inbound and outbound calls.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting.
Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook for scheduling and email management.
Experience in creating presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word for document creation and editing.
