Overview:
A unique Japanese chemical manufacturer seeks an Accounting/Logistics Specialist for electronic and innovative products such as advanced specialty materials, electronic products, adhesives, and solutions.
This position will manage accounting and logistics activities, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and seamless coordination between internal teams, customers, and headquarters. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in both financial and logistics functions.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
・Accounting Responsibilities
Prepare and verify daily financial reports.
Process daily income, sales transactions, and journal entries.
Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger accounts.
Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).
Issue invoices and monitor payment statuses.
Investigate and collect outstanding invoices.
Prepare and submit monthly payment lists for management approval.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements.
Ensure accurate financial reporting with 100% accuracy.
・Logistics Responsibilities
Process accurate purchase orders (PO) based on customer requests.
Coordinate with the headquarters to obtain optimal shipping schedules.
Confirm delivery details with customers and handle delivery-related inquiries.
Provide shipping documents to customs brokers and customers.
Collaborate with forwarding agents to ensure smooth shipments.
Monitor consignment inventory and maintain accurate records.
Upgrade and improve logistics processes in SAP or SAGE.
Provide regular logistics updates to internal teams.

Ensure timely and accurate customer support.
Maintain high levels of accuracy and quality in all tasks.
Requirements:
Experience and Knowledge of logistics operations and best practices.
Experience and Knowledge of accounting.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail and self-learning abilities.
Adaptability and a continuous improvement mindset.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other business applications.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
Experience in SAP or SAGE (preferred).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
