Job Title: Industrial plant electrician
Job Description
Conduct, maintain, test, and repair electrical/electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and components. Provide skilled electrical/electronic support to all areas.
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment including programmable logic controllers, power supplies, motor starters, frequency drives, sensors, gauges, and test equipment.
Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
Inform appropriate management and line mechanics of potential electrical/mechanical problems and inherent dangers involved.
Maintain company-required performance and maintenance records for identified equipment.
Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
Recommend spare parts and materials needed for inventory on hand.
Document and maintain daily paperwork in a timely manner.
Assist maintenance personnel with technical troubleshooting.
Comply with OSHA Safety, NEC, FDA, GMPs, HACCP food safety, and health rules.
Help develop best practices/processes and training as needed.
Provide excellent customer service.
Perform other duties as assigned or needed.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in maintenance, bottling, filling, packaging, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electronics.
Experience with electrical troubleshooting, wiring, installation, and maintenance technician roles.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $36.00/hr.
