This role is to support 2 building survey projects that will be about 6 months long and will convert into a traditional electrical design engineer to support big projects like the Rivian Plant in IL, large data centers across the country, and a new chemical plant in downtown St. Louis.
Description
Electrical Engineer is responsible for traveling to sites with 3 other surveyors (Mechanical, Civil, Plumbing) to survey existing conditions of electrical equipment including service entry, transformers, main panel and infrastructure items throughout facility (lighting, low voltage, alarms).
Ability to read one line diagrams, identify size and name of panel.
Identify items that need updating or repair.
Will be writing a report of recommendations to be combined with other disciplines.
Will fly to sites in the Midwest and east coast, do 1 day site visit and fly back.
Report writing will take place in office in St. Louis.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $37.50 - $50.00/hr.
