Job Title: Electrical Estimator
Job Description
We are looking to grow our electrical team with an experienced electrical estimator! The ideal new team member has a wealth of knowledge in the electrical contractor space. Now is the time to get in and create a career built for success for yourself! In this role, you will lead the estimating department in bidding and winning electrical work for local general contractors. We take on all sorts of work local to St. Louis, including commercial, industrial, and institutional work.
Responsibilities
Lead the estimating department in bidding and winning electrical work for local general contractors.
Prepare detailed cost estimates by analyzing blueprints, specifications, and other documentation.
Develop and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Collaborate with the project management team to ensure accurate project execution.
Utilize estimating software and tools for precise and efficient estimations.
Assist in preconstruction activities, including pricing and budgeting.
Essential Skills
Proven experience in estimation, particularly in commercial, industrial, and institutional electrical construction.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.
Knowledge of estimating software and tools.
Experience with lump sum and T&M bidding.
Understanding of low voltage and low-voltage building construction.
Familiarity with electrical circuits and electrical engineering principles.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Proficiency in Procore and Microsoft Project.
Work Environment
The work environment includes both office and field settings. You will collaborate with various teams and stakeholders, ensuring the successful execution of projects from estimation to completion. The role requires occasional visits to project sites to understand the scope and requirements accurately.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $110000.00/yr.

This is a fully onsite position in SAINT LOUIS,MO.
