Accounting and Logistics. Japanese language skills preferred, but not required.

Our client is a Japanese company, and we are currently looking for a candidate who has work exp with accounting and logistics for our client in Midtown Manhattan.

Some of the main Accounting and Logistics roles:

-Prepare and verify daily reports.

-Prepare daily income/sales and prepare daily journal entry.

-Prepare daily deposits of sales receipts.

-Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger accounts.

-Issue Invoices and collect payments. Prepare checks.

-Responsible for bank account reconciliation. Manage AR and AP accounts.

-Compile monthly reports.

-Provide assistance to prepare financial statements.

-Upgrade Logistics Systems by developing SAP or SAGE process.

-Negotiate with HQ office to obtain the best shipping schedules for customers.

-Contact customers to confirm delivery date and address.

-Respond to the delivery-related inquiry of customers.

-Forward the shipping documents to custom brokers and customers.

-Notify customers about any delivery delays in advance.

-Enter the daily PO transactions in the system.

-Monitor consignment inventory carefully.

-Issuing Purchase Order. Send Invoice.

-Provide logistics updates to staff on a weekly or monthly basis.

Some of the minimum qualification requirements:

-Able to use MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and etc..

-Prior work exp with logistics Purchase Order and invoice.

-Prior work exp with shipping documents to custom brokers and customers.

-Authorized to work in the US.

-Japanese language skills are helpful but not required.

-Able to start in 2 weeks if a job offer is extended.

Compensation: $60,000 to $75,000/yr

This is a full-time position with benefits. The employer will provide health, dental and vision insurance, and a 401k match plan to its full-time employees in accordance with its company policy.
