Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Specialist
(Full-Time | On-Site)

Home Tile Center of NY is a trusted name in luxury tile, building materials and tools. We've been specializing in high-quality tile for residential and commercial spaces for over 25 years. We're a family-owned business with a strong reputation built on honesty, quality products, customer service and attention to detail. We’re looking for an experienced Accounts Payable & Receivable professional to manage the daily accounting operations related to vendor payments and customer invoicing. This role is vital in ensuring our financials are accurate, our vendors are paid on time, and our customers are billed and followed up with efficiently.

Responsibilities:

Process accounts payable and ensure timely vendor payments.
Create and send invoices to customers.
Track accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding balances.
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
Assist with month-end close and financial reporting.
Communicate with vendors and customers regarding billing issues.

Qualifications:

Minimum 5+ years of AP/AR experience required.
Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
Strong attention to detail and organization.
Clear and professional communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage priorities.
Experience in the tile, flooring, or construction industry is a plus.

Salary is based on skills and experience and will be discussed during the interview process.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.35 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week

Schedule:

8 hour shift
Monday to Friday

Work Location: In person
