Part-Time Administrative Assistant
Location: Greensburg, Pennsylvania
Schedule: Monday -- Friday, 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Can be somewhat flexible)
Additional hours during tax season
A local accounting firm is looking for an energetic individual able to handle a variety of duties. Duties include secretarial, payroll processing, and light accounting.
The ideal candidate will exhibit high standards, excellent communication skills, and have an ability to take initiative and prioritize daily tasks in an accounting/payroll office. A strong ability to take charge and meet tight deadlines will ensure your success in this multi-faceted role.
Responsibilities to include:
Front desk responsibilities (greet clients, answer, and direct calls).
Handle outgoing mail (keep track of front desk log).
Payroll processing for clients (weekly, semi-monthly, bi-weekly, and monthly).
Type and assemble tax returns, quarterly and annual payroll reports, financial statements, correspondence, etc.
Processing client check and envelope orders
Set up new client files.
Send thank you notes to new clients and referrals.

Back up to Office Manager
Minimum Requirements:
Highschool Diploma or Equivalent
2 or more years office experience (CPA Firm experience a plus)
Payroll experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office
QuickBooks experience preferred
Good verbal and written communication skills
Strong Organizational skills
Have a pleasant and friendly personality.
Driver's License with a reliable vehicle
Drug Test
