Quality Inspector
Job Summary
Perform visual, mechanical and electrical inspection of switches, keyboards, illuminated panels and sub-assemblies and their components for the aerospace industry.

Examples of Essential Functions:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Perform inspection on all components and materials received from outside procurement activities and Staco Systems manufacturing and assembly activities
Document inspection results using company proprietary database
Perform functional testing of products using DMM and proprietary test bench
Performs AS9102 1st Article Inspection on all components received when required
Document non-conformances and corrective actions (NCMR and CAR)
Prioritize work based on schedules and input from other departments to support production needs
Communicate quality standards to others within the organization
Maintain quality and inspection records for traceability
Qualifications Guidelines
Education/training/experience: Examples below
Experience in interpreting Engineering drawings and electrical schematics (incl. GD&T)
Excellent verbal and written communication
Ability to work well with others in a team environment
Able to manage self and workload and accomplish job tasks with minimal supervision
Proficient with office applications: MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat
2 year technical degree preferred
Knowledge of:
Working knowledge of measurement and inspection tools (calipers, visual comparator, DMM, micrometers, height gage, thread gage, force gage etc.)
Familiar with ISO 9001 or AS9100 and AS9102
Physical Standards:
Good eyesight and finger dexterity
Able to move throughout plant as required
