Job Summary
Sunrise Produce Company iscurrently seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment and systems across our facility. You will play a vital part in ensuring that our operations run smoothly, safely, and efficiently to support the high standards of our distribution services.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance on machinery, equipment, and systems
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues and execute timely repairs
Maintain building systems including refrigeration, HVAC, and lighting
Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and ensure safety compliance
Assist in the installation of new equipment and infrastructure
Respond quickly to emergency repair requests
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Complete maintenance logs and service records accurately
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience as a Maintenance Mechanic or similar role
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
Knowledge of tools, materials, and methods used in repair and maintenance
Ability to read technical manuals, diagrams, and blueprints
Must be reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or in a team
Flexible with work hours and available for on-call or emergency maintenance when needed
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
