Job Title: Controls TechnicianJob Description
Support the automation/robotics service team throughout the production of equipment for customers. Operate and test controls, program PLCs for new equipment, and handle service calls from customers. Troubleshoot issues over the phone and travel onsite when necessary. Write control service programs as needed and travel 50% of the time to program equipment onsite at customer locations.
Responsibilities
Support the automation/robotics service team during equipment production.

Travel onsite to address service issues when required.
Write control service programs as necessary.
Travel 50% of the time to program equipment onsite at customer locations.
Essential Skills
Experience with automation and robotics.
Proficiency in troubleshooting.
Knowledge of Allen-Bradley PLC programming.
Electrical skills.
Experience with robots and HMIs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Associates Degree in Robotics and Control Systems Engineering or Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering.
Completed PLC programming courses in school.
Work Environment
Work hours are Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 4 PM. Travel is required 50% of the time, with onsite work for the remaining time. Share an office with 1-2 other technicians. The pay range for this position is $55000.00 - $70000.00/yr.
