Administrative Assistant - Branch Banking
Job Summary: The Administrative Assistant is responsible for performing administrative and office support functions for one or more supervisors/managers in an efficient manner to ensure effective and efficient operations for the assigned unit(s) Duties may include but are not limited to fielding telephone calls and coordinating feedback and follow-thru efforts; receiving and directing visitors; word processing/data entry ; creating spreadsheets and presentations; and maintenance of records/documentation. The Administrative Assistant is responsible for responding to request for information or coordinating efforts to obtain data/ information / updates form other sources to meet the requirements of information requested; the role actively participates in preparing/drafting organizational presentations.
Essential Responsibilities
-Receives and responds to general administrative requests and inquiries from middle to senior managers in the business; requests relating to maintaining the effectiveness and efficiencies of daily and on-going operations of the business unit(s), including and not limited to coordinating and managing schedules and calendars of others; coordinating efforts to cause business meetings, conferences or similar business events; composing initial drafts of communications, presentations, audit/regulatory reports for further development by officers or direct report.
-Monitors supply inventories and coordinates efforts to replenish stock to ensure availability of supplies and equipment, ensuring equipment is maintained in operable condition by coordinating preventative maintenance requirements and staff's capacity to operate basic equipment properly.
-Serves as the primary contact and coordinator of business-related travel, coordinating efforts to book airline/ferry and hotel accommodations, assisting with travel advances and monitoring to ensure completion/submission by others of their expense reporting for reconciliation of expenses.
-Participates in the processes associated with the on-going activities of the business unit.

Minimum Requirements:An Associate of Applied Science (AAS) Degree in Administrative Assistance Associate or 2 - 3 years in a related job in an office environment or Or the equivalent combination of Education and Experience needed to be able to perform the functions of this job.
