NBCUniversal is looking for an Electrical Associate person to join our Set Lighting & Grip department as part of our Studio Operations team in Doraville, GA. In this role you will be responsible for pulling and receiving lighting and electric equipment orders for Television and Film productions.
What You'll Do
Manage lighting and grip inventory records and movement
Test, stage, and check-in/out rental equipment
Safely prepare/pack equipment for long distance shipping
Assess equipment condition and check-in upon return; tag inventory requiring repairs
Maintain clean work areas, free of any hazardous conditions
Notify immediate supervisor or safety committee members of any unsafe condition(s) or any injury or accident in the workplace
Operate forklift/lift trucks, as well as asses working conditions
Coordinate with SL&G Manager and Rental Agents on day-to-day tasks
Assist peer warehouse workers and rental agents in resolving outstanding issues
Load/unload tucks
Work directly with customers/crew
Identify process improvement opportunities

What You Must Have...
3+ years of experience in production equipment rental process
Proven computer literacy in inventory tracking systems (i.e., RTPro)

Up-to-date forklift/ truck certification
Thorough knowledge of loading and balancing weight on large trucks/shipments.

Ability to interact with all levels of personnel, including executives, operational supervisors, and front-line crew.
