Gibson EMC has an Engineering Intern position open for our Trenton Member Service Center located at 1207 S. College St., Trenton, TN.
Position Summary:
Assists in duties such as fiber network layout/design, mapping and GIS, field data acquisition, and general systems support.
Creates, updates and maintains GIS and facilities mapping systems
Gathers field data for fiber networks
Assists engineers with fiber system layout and design
Assists routed network technicians with programming and equipment maintenance
Assists with design and layout of customer fiber installations
To be well qualified for this position, an applicant must:
High School Diploma or equivalent, with successful completion of courses in Algebra I, Algebra II, and Trigonometry
Courses in AutoCAD in addition to engineering courses
Upper classman Engineering student
Valid Class D Drivers License
