Course: Finding Success in the Electrical Trades
This course identifies and develops the career skills necessary to succeed in the electrical trades. It provides a broad overview of the industrial electrical field and provides students a general understanding of business operations and project management. Principles for goal setting and personal financial management are also covered.
What You Will Do:
Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
Engage students in learning course objectives and topics
Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom
Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University's Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University
What You Will Bring:
Preferred: 5+ years of professional experience in Professional Trades related to Electrical, Construction, Pluming, HVAC, etc. OR a Master's in a related field
Minimum: Bachelor's in any field and experience in higher education as an online or campus instructor or student services personnel or other administrative position in which teaching or learning or the use of technology and learning was paramount.
