Job Summary: The County Administrator serves as the chief administrative officer of the County, per Minnesota Statute 375A.06, and is responsible for the overall operation of county government under administrative direction of the County Board of Commissioners. The County Administrator, considering the department specific input of elected officials, provides leadership, direction, and support to all County departments. The County Administrator manages and oversees the administration and coordination of County services in accordance with County Board ordinances, regulations, resolutions, policies, and state laws. The County Administrator establishes goals and objectives within the policy directives set by the County Board, and assists subordinate managers in developing and implementing procedures to accomplish goals and objectives.
