The Social Event Sales Manager is responsible for selling and servicing social events to include but not limited to Weddings, Birthday Parties, Engagement Receptions, Bar Mitzvah and Bat Mitzvah. Primary sales efforts are in Banquet Food and Beverage and includes menu planning, agenda setting and hotel meeting services. Duties also include contract review and facilitating communication before, during and post event with pertinent hotel staff to ensure a high level of service.
The Social Event Sales Manager also host hotel site visits, maintain strong customer relationships, involved in local and national networking communities, participate and lead when applicable event meetings and work as a team player within the sales and events team and entire hotel. The manager also works closely with an assigned Administrative Assistant and other support staff.
The salary range for this position is $68,640.00 to $79,400.00. This is the pay range for this position that Andaz West Hollywood reasonably expects to pay.
Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors, such as experience and education.

Qualifications:
A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
Refined verbal and written communication skills.
Must be proficient in general computer knowledge.
Candidates should be extremely detail oriented and organized.
Prefer 2 years hotel experience or completed Event Management trainee program.
