We are looking to hire a detail-oriented HVAC technician/Helper to help install, maintain and repair HVAC systems. The HVAC technician will assist the lead installer with cleaning, adjusting and repairing systems. You will learn to guide and advise the customer to select the most appropriate air quality system to fulfill their requirements.
To be successful in this role, customer satisfaction, safety and communication should be your top priority. Ideal candidates will be patient and have excellent organizational and troubleshooting skills.
Assist Lead Installer in carrying out full HVAC installation skills such as: equipment removal and installation of new, duct repair and/or replacement (fiberglass, flex, and metal), soldering, venting flues, refrigerant leak detection, and charging, recovering and reclaiming refrigerant, measuring refrigeration system parameters (gas pressures and temperatures, etc.), calculating static and CFM delivery, carrying out basic plumbing and electrical skills.
Load trucks with materials, tools, and equipment daily as instructed by Lead Technician.
Learn proper install methods from Install Lead.
High school diploma or GED.
Valid DL with clean driving record
Demonstrate the mental aptitude and physical ability required to do the job.
Excellent communication & customer service skills.
Ability to climb in attics, under houses and in box trucks in extreme temperatures??
Ability to follow directions
Understanding principles of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work after hours when scheduled.
Electrical knowledge preferred
