Aerotek's client is seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman to join our team in Hunt Valley, MD.
This role is a blend of hands-on electrical work (80%) and administrative duties (20%). As an Electrical Foreman, you will perform all electrical tasks while overseeing a crew and ensuring projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities
Perform all electrical tasks while overseeing a crew
Install feeders and branch circuits
Wire and conduit sizing
Install and terminate switchgear, panelboards, lighting, and devices
Install and terminate fire alarm systems
Layout and prepare for installation
Underground layout and rough-in
Troubleshoot motors and controls
Mentor and train apprentice electricians
Fully comprehend electrical theory and the NFPA 70 National Electrical Code
Read blueprints, terminate cable, and install and troubleshoot control wiring from drawings
Perform administrative duties such as timekeeping, scheduling, and progress updates
Essential Skills
Journeyman license
5+ years leading crews on electrical projects ranging from $2M-$10M
10+ years of commercial electrical experience, particularly in schools and recreation centers
Ability to read blueprints and electrical drawings
Proficiency in electrical theory and the NFPA 70 National Electrical Code

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $48.00/hr.
