Manufacturing Maintenance Electrician
Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician who will predominantly work on the conveyors in our warehouse. The role involves performing preventive maintenance (PMs) every few months and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues. While PLC experience is not required, it is beneficial as we plan to upgrade our systems in the future.
Responsibilities
Perform maintenance on conveyor systems within the warehouse.
Conduct preventive maintenance (PMs) every few months.
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on conveyors.
Collaborate with other maintenance technicians to ensure efficient operation.
Perform pneumatic and controls maintenance.
Utilize PLC troubleshooting skills, although programming is not required.
Essential Skills
Several years of experience working on conveyors.
Strong electrical skills, with a proficiency in mechanical tasks.
Experience with pneumatics.
Experience with controls.
PLC troubleshooting skills (preferred but not required).
Additional Skills & Qualifications
No commercial electricians.

Work Environment
The position offers both night and day shifts. The night shift runs Monday through Thursday from 5pm until the trucks leave, with shifts lasting at least 10 hours and sometimes extending to 12 hours. Occasional Sunday work may be necessary. The day shift runs Monday through Thursday from 7am to 4pm, and Friday from 7am to 2pm. The role is contract-to-hire, providing an opportunity for long-term employment based on performance.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $34.00/hr.
