Job Title: Commercial Electrician, up to $35/hr. based on experience
$100/day worked per diem available for those traveling into site. 6 days a week (Monday to Saturday) from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
We are seeking a skilled Electrician for a long-term project located in Lima, OH. The ideal candidate will be involved in various electrical tasks including conduit installation, wiring, and troubleshooting. This position offers the potential for conversion to a permanent role for dedicated and proficient workers.
Responsibilities
Install and maintain conduit systems including EMT and IMC
Set up and maintain lighting, devices, and temporary wiring
Install cable trays and grounding systems
Handle feeder, power, and control cabling
Read and interpret blueprints with minimal supervision
Work comfortably at heights and from lifts
Troubleshoot electrical issues in an industrial construction environment
Essential Skills
3+ years of relevant electrical experience in commercial/industrial construction
Proficiency in EMT and IMC conduit systems
Experience with temporary wiring and devices
Ability to read blueprints with minimal supervision
Comfortable working at heights and from lifts
OSHA 10 certification
Additional Skills & Qualifications
IEC/ABC electrical certification
Aerial Lift Certification
OSHA 10 or higher
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Work Environment
This role is based at the P&G project site and involves working 6 days a week (Monday to Saturday) from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM. The work environment includes outdoor conditions and requires appropriate rain gear and boots. Standard PPE such as @type 2 hard hats, safety vests, and hand tools are mandatory. Additionally, you will need portable power tools and conduit benders ranging from 3/4" to 1".
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $35.00/hr.
