Heinrich Chevrolet in Lockport, NY is seeking Level B & C Automotive Technicians to join our team. As a full-time Flat-Rate hour technician, you will be responsible for performing vehicle repairs, maintenance, and diagnostics in accordance with company standards. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong knowledge of automotive systems and excellent problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter with a passion for the auto industry.
Compensation & Benefits:
This is a full-time, Flat-Rate hour position with a competitive salary of $60,000 to $90,000 per year depending on your skill level and productivity, paid weekly. In addition to base compensation, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and a 401k retirement plan.
Note: New York pays retail time for warranty repair and diagnosis times. This is 40-50% higher than manufacturer warranty labor times in other States.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and inspections on vehicles in accordance with manufacturer guidelines
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on a variety of makes and models
Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately troubleshoot problems
Keep accurate records of all work performed, including parts, time, and labor
Communicate with service advisors and customers to explain repairs needed and provide accurate estimates
Adhere to safety protocols and company policies at all times
Continuously update skills and knowledge through training and development opportunities
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent
2+ years of experience as an Automotive Technician or completion of an Automotive Education Program.
ASE certification preferred, but not required
Strong knowledge of automotive systems and repairs
Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Valid driver's license
