Job Title: Electrical Tester
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Tester to support the production and testing of low and medium voltage instrument transformers. These transformers play a crucial role in substations and electrical power grids. The successful candidate will conduct electrical tests on finished magnetic transformer cores, diagnose and report any issues, and ensure that all products meet the required specifications.
Must Haves
Thorough understanding of voltage and electrical principles.
Experience in electrical assembly.
Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting Bill of Materials (BOMs).
Attention to detail and patience.
Responsibilities
Conduct electrical tests on finished magnetic transformer cores.
Diagnose and report any electrical issues.
Document and tag any issues found during testing.
Understand the process of taping and winding to aid in diagnosing issues.
Read blueprints and schematics to understand product specifications.
Follow and interpret Bill of Materials (BOMs).

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sugar Land, Texas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
