We are seeking a skilled RF Test Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role involves a blend of customer support, testing, and measurement work.
The ideal candidate will manage a team of engineers, set up power test stations, and handle component testing with a strong focus on capacitors, conductors, and resistors. This position offers the opportunity to work directly with customers, troubleshoot, and mentor.
Responsibilities:
Team Management: Manage a team of three engineers and provide customer support (30% of the role).
Power Test Stations: Set up power test stations and explore additional services.
Component Testing: Conduct component testing focusing on capacitors, conductors, and resistors.
System Evaluation: Evaluate insertion loss, return loss, and S-parameters in systems.
Obsolescence Solutions: Address obsolescence issues and develop solutions.
Customer Communication: Communicate effectively with customers and handle inquiries.
Testing & Troubleshooting: Perform testing and troubleshooting (20% of the role), as well as reliability testing in-house.
Product Review: Review new products and provide support for new customer programs.
Mentorship: Mentor junior engineers and support their development.
Design Work: Conduct all design work in 2D CAD.
Essential Skills:
Proficiency with test equipment such as oscilloscopes.
Knowledge of RF/MW products and theory.
Experience in electrical product testing.
Ability to develop test plans and procedures.
Strong communication skills for customer interaction.
BSEE degree required.
Minimum of 4 years of hands-on testing experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Experience with Sonet and software simulation tools.
Proficiency in Minitab for analysis.
Experience with Honeywell products is a plus.
Ability to work in a small company environment with a flexible mindset.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr.
