Overview
The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Assistant Dean for Administration and to assist in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Touro Law Center.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Answers the telephone and retrieves voice mail and email messages for the Administration Office
Handle incoming and outgoing mail
Maintain office files and records, both physical and digital
Provide excellent administrative support service to faculty, administrators, staff and students
Handle Accounts Payable responsibilities for the Law Center including: entering and processing invoices, maintaining accurate records, responding to vendor inquiries and department/staff inquiries regarding accounts payable, reviewing statements and insuring that all invoices are processed in an efficient manner
Assist with grant financial reporting and preparing vouchers
Assist with student attendance records
Assist with faculty services (copying, typing, exam processing) when needed
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education/Experience
Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Experience as an administrative assistant preferred
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
Ability to multi-task
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Power Point, & Outlook
Ability to learn and use other relevant software and tools (Banner, Canvas, Siera, etc.)
Working Conditions

Maximum Salary
USD $53,770.00/Yr.
Minimum Salary
USD $43,016.00/Yr.
