Description We are seeking a diligent Administrative Assistant to join our team within the government sector. This position is located in Rialto, California and offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity. As an Administrative Assistant, you will be playing a crucial role in the City Manager's office, managing front desk operations, handling telephonic communications, and maintaining an organized filing system.
Responsibilities:
Manage the front desk operations and deliver high-quality customer service.
Handle incoming phone calls and ensure detail oriented phone etiquette is maintained at all times.
Maintain a well-organized filing system to ensure easy accessibility to required documents.
Assist in resolving customer inquiries and issues in a timely and detail oriented manner.
Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary.
Utilize Microsoft Outlook for effective communication and scheduling purposes.
Provide assistance to the City Manager as required. Requirements - Proven experience in a similar role within the Government sector
Strong skills in Customer Service with evidence of handling queries and complaints efficiently
Excellent Phone Etiquette, able to communicate clearly and detail oriented over the phone
Demonstrated proficiency in Phone Etiquette, including managing multiple lines and routing calls
High level of competency in Microsoft Outlook, including managing emails, scheduling appointments, and organizing tasks
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
High degree of discretion dealing with confidential information
Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively
