Position Details:
· Enjoy a flexible long-term contract with opportunities for extension
· 40 hours per week, 8 hour shifts
· Pharmacy Hours: M-F 8am -5pm, no weekends, no Holidays
· 11 Paid federal Holidays

· Must have BLS
· Previous contract experience is a plus
· Experience at an IHS facility is advantageous
· A minimum of 2 years of pharmacy experience is preferred
· Must be willing and able to pass federal security clearance pre-hire
Key Responsibilities
· Assist in accurately filling and labeling prescriptions under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist
· Provide friendly and professional service to patients picking up prescriptions or seeking medication information
· Process prescription refills, enter patient information into pharmacy systems, and verify insurance details
· Maintain pharmacy inventory, restock shelves, and help manage medication orders
· Answer phones and assist with patient questions or concerns, directing clinical questions to the pharmacist
· Support pharmacy operations by keeping the work area organized and clean
· Comply with all federal, state, and facility regulations related to pharmacy services and patient privacy
Required Skills and Experience
· Prior experience as a Pharmacy Technician in an outpatient or retail pharmacy setting
· Familiarity with prescription processing systems and pharmacy software
· Strong communication and customer service skills
· Understanding of basic pharmacy terminology and medication safety practices
· Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and work well in a team
· National or state pharmacy technician certification (if required by state or facility)

Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- 2-3 Years of Experience in a Pharmacy environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of an accredited pharmacy tech program preferred
- Certified/licensed Medical Assistant Certificate preferred
- Current certification in BLS (Basic Life Support) required
- Certifications and licenses must be active, unrestricted, and free of disciplinary action in a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a Territory of the United States.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent computer and organizational skills required
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must be willing to submit to a federal background check
