Position Purpose
The Electrical Supervisor leads and oversees the Harrodsburg electrician maintenance team, including journeymen and apprentices. The role is responsible for developing and implementing continuous improvement and reliability projects for maintenance.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in engineering or in a technical science
Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing leadership experience
Capability to multitask and prioritize work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Strong data analysis and interpretation skills
Proficient in MS Office suite and MS Project
Flexible hours may be necessary for off-hours maintenance and project work on weekends and evenings; Periodic weekend team coverage is required
Desired
Extensive experience in electrical trades
Experience working in a union environment
Proficiency in Maximo or other CMMS for managing work
Experience with Kronos labor management/timekeeping software
Experience in maintenance leadership, including planning and scheduling
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
Experience in high voltage (12kV and below) switchgear maintenance
NFPA 70E arc flash compliance experience
Familiarity with DMAIC methodology (Green or Black Belt preferred)
Responsibilities
Ensure safety, housekeeping, scheduling, training, evaluations, and daily activities for the electrical maintenance team
Manage the electrician maintenance apprenticeship program and track all training progress
Provide direction to electrical maintenance staff, including day shift trades, shift support electricians, and contractors as needed
Evaluate maintenance effectiveness through metrics, implement improvement plans, and enhance systems through root cause analysis, trend analysis, and preventive/predictive maintenance
Manage and achieve budget objectives for expenses and capital expenditures within the cost center
Oversee repair parts ordering, stocking, and obsolescence in collaboration with the plant procurement team

The range for this position is $85,191.00 - $117,138.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
