Job Description
State of Indiana Wastewater license preferred
Responsible for the maintaining and repairing equipment associated with the treatment of influent wastewater from the facility's manufacturing operations. Includes, pumps, valves, piping, instrumentation, dewatering equipment, mixer, chemical feed equipment, and other related equipment.
Perform Preventative Maintenance per manufacturer specifications
Perform routine repair work and other work of a general maintenance nature.
Mechanical
Electrical
Piping
Plan and organize all maintenance work to properly maintain WWTP
Evaluate maintenance needs and set priorities.
Coordinate with Maintenance for plant support, if needed.
Coordinates with contractors or subcontractors to perform maintenance work deemed to be to specialized or extensive to be performed by plant personnel.
Insures completion and/or performs routine inspections of all systems and equipment.
Chemical handling
Sludge handling
Other duties, as assigned by supervisor
