Position Summary
This individual will serve as a bridge between data and decision-making. Utilizing their strong analytical skills with business acumen they will uncover insights, support strategic initiatives, and drive data-informed decisions across the organization, especially in Finance and Sales, with this in person role. They will work closely with cross-functional teams, subject matter experts, and the leadership team to understand business needs, design analytical solutions, and present findings that influence strategy and drive corporate profitability and operational efficiency. Additionally, they will be a strong presence on the data governance team and support data quality improvement efforts.
Position Responsibilities:
Analyze business processes, KPIs, and datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate data insights clearly and effectively at all levels of United Electric Supply.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable analytics solutions.
Perform ad-hoc data analyses to support decision-making across departments.
Develop deep understanding of corporate data sources, content, and systems to utilize in data analytics and projects.
Ensure data accuracy and integrity through validation, documentation, and governance practices in preparation of analysis.
Translate complex data findings into business-friendly language and recommendations.
Works closely with all internal departments, combining individual efforts to better serve the customer

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, Data Science, Economics, Statistics, or related field.
2+ years of experience in a data or business analytics role.
Strong proficiency in SQL and Excel.
Experience with data visualization tools
Familiarity with Python, R, or another scripting language is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and storytelling skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and work cross-functionally
Experience with CRM, PIM, ERP, or other enterprise data systems.
Knowledge of data modeling, warehousing concepts, and cloud platforms
Understanding of financial and operational metrics relevant to Electrical Distribution
