The Executive Assistant to the Dean plays a critical role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Dean's Office. With a thorough understanding of policies and procedures and the Whitman School of Management and Syracuse University, the Executive Assistant is responsible for managing a range of administrative functions. These functions include the hiring of faculty, promotion and tenure procedures in partnership with the Office of Faculty Affairs, and assessment and accreditation processes. The Executive Assistant interacts with a wide range of individuals and stakeholders, including members of the Whitman community, Syracuse University senior leadership, administrators, and alumni, public and private officials, students, and parents.
