Job Title: Journeyman Electrician
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician with a valid Journeyman Card through the State of Michigan. This role involves a mix of commercial, industrial, and residential electrical work, including generator service. The ideal candidate will have experience troubleshooting electrical system issues, be familiar with NEC codes, and have the ability to repair and install wiring systems.
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot electrical system issues
Repair and install wiring systems
Perform panel upgrades
Install and service outdoor lighting and LED lighting systems
Install surge protection
Install and service back-up generator power
Provide equipment power supply
Essential Skills
Valid Journeyman Card through the State of Michigan
Experience in commercial and industrial electrical work
Ability to work independently or lead a crew
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Proficiency in conduit work, troubleshooting, electrical service, wire pulling, wiring schematics, wire stripping, and electrical installation
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to run a crew and be a working foreman is preferred
Experience with electrical troubleshooting
Experience with smoke detector installation and service
Experience with LED lighting installation and service
Experience with outdoor lighting installation and repair
Experience with lamp/ballast upgrades

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $32.00/hr.
