Job Title: Journeyman Electrician
Location: Lewiston, ID

Job Overview:\
The Journeyman Electrician will be responsible for assembling,
installing, testing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment.
This includes diagnosing malfunctions, repairing systems, and ensuring
compliance with safety codes. The role involves working with various
electrical systems, including PLCs, motors, drives, high-voltage
switchgear, and transformers.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, and
fixtures.
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues using testing equipment.
Inspect systems for hazards and ensure code compliance.
Work with PLCs, AC/DC drives, motors, control systems, and
high-voltage equipment.
Utilize computerized maintenance tracking systems for documentation.
Work in a team-oriented, self-motivated environment with minimal
supervision.
Primarily work day shifts, Monday-Friday (4-day, 10-hour schedule).
Requirements:
Completed an approved electrical apprenticeship program.
Must hold a current state journeyman electricians license or obtain
one within 6 months (Idaho license required).
3-5 years of experience in an industrial environment (pulp and paper
experience preferred).
Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot complex
systems.
Experience with motor controls, speed controls, and electrical
troubleshooting.
Ability to learn secondary maintenance skills (instrumentation and
refrigeration).
Must be safety-conscious and responsible.
Compensation & Benefits:
Pay rate: \$54.27 per hour, with a 3% annual wage increase.
\$2,000 signing bonus after probation period.
Up to \$5,000 relocation assistance.
