JOB REQUIREMENTS: Therma-Tron-X, Inc., based in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin,
seeks an Electrical Engineer to design, develop and maintain electrical
systems for existing and future installations, including control system
design, embedded design, and programming. Specific duties include the
following: Work closely with our Project Engineers and Project Managers
to select electrical components and develop electrical schematics for
electrical systems to satisfy customer requirements. Create drawings and
schematics for electrical panels and field located components. Calculate
control panel loading for distribution, following electrical standards.
Create Bill of Materials to be used for purchasing of components for
fabricating control panels and field installed components. Communicate
with field electricians, and PLC programmers assisting with
troubleshooting component connections and functionally with the
utilization of component data literature. Cultivate and apply knowledge
to a broad range of components and engineering processes including power
transmission, AC motors, PLC\'s, sensors, and SCADA software systems.
Create a control system plan. Design a power distribution system for the
installation; create drawings. Review or create bill of materials using
CAD software for electrical systems including, but not limited to,
sensors, motors and PLCs. Supervise the construction of electrical
panels. Support electricians for field installation of systems.
Responsible for commissioning of the system. Perform system operational
support and troubleshooting during the warranty period of the system.
Provide internal department support to maintain standards and policy for
electrical systems. Create theories of operation for electrical systems.
Create electrical standards for electrical drawings; evaluate and make
changes where necessary. Act as knowledge resource for design, quality,
and testing of electrical components and systems. Effectively
communicate project status updates to management. Effectively
communicate with suppliers, both domestic and foreign. Help to review,
develop and document quality expectations with related team members
applying knowledge of standard quality assurance practices and
international and domestic safety standards for electronic equipment.
Ensure components and assemblies adhere to customer specifications and
applicable industry standards and regulations. Identify and implement
continuous improvement opportunities. Apply knowledge of and perform
duties using a variety of tools and technologies including SCADA
systems, SolidWorks 2D Electrical, AutoCAD Electrical, Simulation
Software, Rockwell Studio 5000, Encompix, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Minimum requirements: Bachelor\'s degree in electrical engineering plus
2 years of electrical engineering experience working with electrical
systems and power design including at least one year of experience with
PLCs, control system design, embedded design, and AutoCAD. Application
